so I'm almost finished with my next woodcut (hopefully should be up by later today) but in the meantime here is a recent sketch where I was trying to flush out some new ideas.  Untitled, graphite on paper, 30" x 20".

These two pieces are currently exhibited in the Katzen Arts Building at American University in the show "Drawing Undefined".  The first is titled "Ben is an Average Guy", is 13.5" x 8" and is carved into Mahogany.  The second it titled "Sam Knows How to Party", is 17.5" x 9.25" and is carved into Red Oak.

So I am going to be using this Blog to show recent work and current projects.  Hopefully it will be a bit like an online sketchbook and images will definitely be up here before they reach my web page (which will be revamped in the next few months).
